INTOWN STARS GYMNASTICS COMPETITIVE TEAMS

Our Competition Philosophy:  At Intown Stars the primary goal for our competitive gymnasts is for them to become leaders. Gymnasts who are on team develop their body, mind and character. The rewards will not only be medals, but self-discipline, mental strength, and memories and relationships that will last forever. We strive to teach each gymnast to respect their body, team, gym-home and the community and family they represent.

The Junior Olympic program was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely. The program allows the gymnast to advance at her own pace, competing in more than one level in a year, if she so chooses. Our JO team practices 3-5 days a week, up to 18 hours a week.
Our Men's Gymnastics program competes levels 4 and up

 

Our professional, USAG-Certified coaches guide the boys as they train and compete in the six men's Olympic events, High Bar, Parallel Bars, Rings, Pommel Horse, Floor and Vault.  

Our gymnasts build confidence and strength on the competitive men's team, all while having a blast!

The Xcel Program is designed to offer a broad-based, affordable competitive experience outside the traditional Jr. Olympic Program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes. It is an alternative pathway in competitive gymnastics. We have silver, gold and platinum teams. Our Xcel team practices 3-4 days a week, up to 12 hours a week.
TEAM PREP - GIRLS AND BOYS 

Team Prep is a place where gymnast can "test the waters" of competitive gymnastics. Practices are designed to prepare for placement on a team. The focus is given to form and precision, conditioning, and flexibility. Team Prep students participate in a mock meet in the Spring. The goal of our Team Prep program is to allow both the gymnast and the parents to make an informed decision about whether or not competitive gymnastics is right for you. Team Prep practices 2 days a week, 2 hours a day.

MIGHTY MITES

Mighty Mites is a training ground for those little gymnasts who are "tiny but mighty." Girls ages 4-6 are invited to participate in the program to build a foundation of discipline and a gymnastics work ethic from a young age. Practices focus on form and precision, and beginner choreography. Our Mighty Mites practice two days a week, 1 hour and 15 minutes a day.
